This ministry serves the dying soul and their loved ones by pointing them to the Divine Mercy of Jesus Christ through the Holy Sacraments and Prayer. No person knows the day or hour of their demise. Running to Christ is a steadfast guide for a peaceful death at every phase of life.

I have read the Running to Christ Prayer Book and discussed the ministry with its founder, a former parishioner of mine. Monsignor Ken Leone has worked tirelessly for Jesus Christ in the Archdiocese of Denver for over 50 years. As a parish priest, he rightfully earned the reputation of being 'In Persona Christi' not only in the confessional, but to the many souls he met every day. With courage, comfort, and peace, he led his parish flock as well as the greater Littleton community through the early days of the Columbine tragedy and the lasting aftermath. Toward the end of his active ministry, he spent 12 years as Spiritual Director for the seminarians at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary located in Denver. SOCIETY OF MASSES FOR THE DEAD
The greatest prayer we can offer for our loved ones who have died is that of the Holy Mass.
- Your donation at the time of enrollment will provide your loved one with a Mass every month.
- The Masses dedicated to these souls will be prayed at every First Friday Morning Mass.
- Enrollees will benefit from monthly Masses for as long as the society shall exist.
